HAYA ABUSHKHAIDEM
 Journalist and Media Consultant 

​Haya Abushkhaidem is a Palestinian journalist with more than 6 years of experience covering a wide range of topics, including politics, culture, and social issues in Palestine. Her work has been published in several notable publications including the Reuters Institute, Middle East Eye, Dazed Digital, Huck Magazine, Discontent Magazine, 10Mojo, and others. 

 

In recognition of her work, Haya was awarded a prestigious Reuters Institute Journalism Fellowship at the University of Oxford in 2022.

Prior to her fellowship, Haya worked as a freelance journalist, focusing on creating high-quality written content and digital stories. She also joined a journalism training programme at the United Nations Headquarters in New York in 2018. Over the years, she has gained valuable experience in the field of communications and media consulting, where she provided her expertise to a range of regional and international NGOs.

Haya is considered a dynamic activist in Palestine and abroad, where she has co-founded social movements, such as Bekaffi and Peace on Climate
